The Concept
In the summer of 2001 Andrew Seear and Kevin Hall came up with the idea of combining our two hobbies of sound engineering and photography to create a small company capable of recording and designing albums to promote bands in the local area of Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Thus KRASH Records was formed, incorporating 'Mixed Veg Studios' and 'Norfolk 'n' Change Photographic and Design Company'.
We immediately went about setting up connections in the local music scene, by contacting several bands, including 'Mr. Majeekas', 'Britonica', and 'Flavors' and enquiring over the possibility of recording and photographing them. The first album to be released on the Krash Records Inc. label was 'Robots Eat My Face' by Mr Majeekas in October 2001.

I've been into music in a big way since 1995 when the presence of Blur and Oasis got me interested in the modern music scene. Since then I have played guitar in a band and followed the local music scene, and I have found that I enjoy more the production and arranging side of music than playing. Having left Bognor Community College with eight GCSE's and three 'A' Levels I am now studying Music Technology at College in Worthing.
Over the past four years I have purchased a variety of new (and used) recording equipment which has allowed me to record bands in both live and studio based setups. Having purchased (amongst other things) an 24 track harddisk recorder, a Cd writer, over a dozen microphones and some headphones. It is now possible for me to record to a relatively high standard.
I have also found time to set up a band called 'Weevil Knievel' and I am the official sound man for local band 'Britonic'.

I am a young photographer from Bognor Regis, England, who specializes in the photography of rock bands and events related to music. I have always been fascinated by art and music, especially the music of the 'Manic Street Preachers', although due to my lack of musical talents, I found a way to enter the music industry through photography.
I left college with an A-level in Photography, and one in Geography, and have since become the official photographer of several local bands, including the alternative rock band, 'Mr Majeekas', and the successful indie rock band, 'Urbanswallow'. I was also the official photographer of the ROX2001 music and arts festival, which took place in Bognor on the 10th, 11th, and 12th August 2001.
Now living in Cardiff I have set up a new website to promote my Photography services www.photophonic.cjb.net.
